Dr. Mary Hawn will innaugurate the 2017-2018 season with her Chair’s Update followed by presentations from Lisa Freeman and Dr. Norman Rizk on the Quality Measuring System and Drs. Topher Sharp and Andy Shelton on the EPIC upgrade.
Department Mortality and Morbidity Meetings will take place each month on Tuesday mornings at 7:00am this year.
Dr. Brenden Visser, an associate professor of surgery in the Division of General Surgery, will present.
Dr. Tina Hernandez-Boussard, associate professor (research) of medicine for the Biomedical Informatics Training Program, will present.
As part of the Department of Surgery’s Diversity Lecture series, Col. Jeff Hutchinson, MD, FAAP will present “The Military is a Great Social Experiment.”
