The submission site is now open! Guidelines for abstract and video submission can be found here. Prior to submission, familiarize yourself with related SVS policies.
NEW FOR 2019: complete the submission process on a smartphone! The submission site is now mobile-friendly. Abstracts and videos will be accepted until 3 p.m. CDT, Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
Submissions may be considered for the following programs:
- Scientific Session
- Vascular and Endovascular Surgical Society (VESS)
- International Forum
- International Fast Talk
- Poster Competition
- Interactive Poster Session
In addition to the International Forum and International Fast Talk, the international community now has two further opportunities to showcase research: the International Young Surgeon Competition and the International Poster Competition. See the guidelines link above for descriptions on these and all other submission types.
Videos may also be submitted for inclusion in scientific sessions or the “How I Do It” session. Consider submitting a video of a novel/unique approach, or a core vascular surgical procedure. This year, the Video Committee is encouraging submissions in the following areas:
- Dialysis access
- Venous interventions
- Surgical bypass procedures
- Endovascular approaches to critical limb ischemia
- Vascular trauma
- Renal and mesenteric interventions
