The Fogarty lectureship was established to bring together a diverse community in Silicon Valley focusing on leaders in discovery, invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Thomas Bower is Chair of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.
Department Chair Dr. Mary Hawn in conjunction with the San Jose Surgical Society hosts the new George B. Armanini Lecture. Dr. Ron Weigel is Chair of the Department of Surgery at the University of Iowa.
